The Mayor with award winners, March 2008 |
Each year in March, members of the club select examples of their own work for display in the exhibition area at Beeston Library. Entries are marked by an independent judge and trophies are awarded to the winners in each category. Trophies are presented by Mayor of the Borough of Broxtowe who also selects his/her favourite picture for which a special trophy is awarded. Visitors to the exhibition are also invited to select their own favourites and to add their comments in a Visitors’ Book.
